Do you know anyone that can't take care of their yorkie poo, thats still in good health?

I wanted to know if it is safe to pick a yorkie up during pregnancy. As i know that if you are not experienced that you should not palpate a dog as this could injure mom or pups. I def. wont do this myself as i believe this is solely the vet or experienced breeders job . My question is, is this the same for picking them up as well? Also, I know they say in the 4th week to eliminate activity lessen . How do i get my yorkie to stop jumping off the couch, bed etc. when yorkies are active as it is. Any suggestions????All help is appreciated. Very caring of my baby girl and her puppies
