Well, my mother is planning on getting a dog for my 15th birthday. I told her I& 039 d either want a yorkie or chihuahua. Which one is less yappy. Which one is better around starangers? Which is more of a gentler lap dog? Please add as much details as possible And any info on either breeds. Thank you

Would you advise spaying a 2 pound Yorkie or just keeping her from breeding. She is 8 months old.?
I am confused about advice to not spay my 2 pound yorkie. I would prefer not to have her have surgery so small. I was told that she had to be spayed because of her size. She is never with unneutered dogs and she is full grown. We do not want her to breed as she is too small. A runt, not bred that small on purpose. She has very healthy, good parents. She is a great pet quality, with wonderful personality.

Does anyone have info on breeding a havanese with a yorkie??

Because there are only about 10 small dogs that are hypoallergenic so touch . 1 more thing I spent 2 long years looking for a hypo dog in a shelter I even looked on petfinder and I could only find a few and they had low dander not none.

Are AKC papers from a breeder entirely necessary if I do not plan on breeding or showing my yorkie?
The breeder says that the puppies parents are both AKC certified and westminster champions however she doesn& 039 t want to AKC certify this puppy. She is still charging me for a champion bloodline though.
